Since 2014, Zone 126 has been collecting data and reporting on how children and families are progressing in the Cradle-to-Career pipeline after participating in our programs and services. These analyses help us identify our collective and individual successes and shortcomings and develop best practices over-time.
For the second year in a row, the Zone 126 Progress Report measures students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development; levels of family engagement; and overall needs in our geographical catchment. It is also features our first year of individualized, school-level academic data for children and children of adults served last year, in School Year 2013/2014.
Since we are in the nascent stages of scaling-up services and building Community Schools, the findings in the report are meant to inform organizational strategy and drive continuous improvement. Even greater gains and successes are expected going forward due to the growth of programs, services, and resources available to the community.
